About The Vermont Automobile Enthusiasts

Welcome to the Vermont Automobile Enthusiasts (Classic and Antique Car Club), Vermont's largest antique and classic car club. We are a 450-family member organization and we're crazy about wheels!

Vermont Auto Enthusiasts - St Albans High School From Auburns to Wasps, from fire engines to military vehicles, we care passionately about preserving the automobiles from the early era of transportation right up through to the present so that future generations might benefit.

Founded in 1953 by a small group of enthusiasts, the VAE has continued to grow in numbers and projects. Currently, we hold 12-monthly meets, sponsor two popular car shows, and stage an October appreciation dinner to honor our volunteer workers.

Proceeds from the car shows provide funds for six $1,000 scholarships awarded annually to qualified students enrolled in the automotive technology course at Vermont Technical College in Randolph Center, Vermont.

Monthly meets, especially those from late spring through mid-October, invite explorations of Vermont's most scenic drives at the wheels of our prized autos.

Collector garage tours, restoration and upholstery shop visits, technical and judging clinics, marque histories by individual owners, and viewing historically significant museum collections all add to each meet's enjoyment. And yes, there's a fair amount of car talk, too!

Our Mission

". . . to develop and encourage genuine interest in the preservation and restoration of the products of the automotive industry, and collecting, retrieving, restoring and preserving (said products) . . ." for the benefit of the present and future generations.

Keeping your antique auto's custom tires properly inflated can help you save gas, money, and the environment. And there are many uses for your recycled custom tires and discount tires.
