In 1927 three of these cars set a new production-car record in Atlantic City by each running 25,000 uninterrupted miles, averaging more than 60 mph. They were built of all-steel bodies and turret tops which made them look to some degree like an armored car. In 1929 an eight-cylinder engine joined the prior six-cylinder, which was dropped after 1930.
